PROFILE
Ever since the inception of Dance Music, there has been free parties, these outdoor gatherings provide the lifeblood of underground music, and one DJ/Producer who is pioneering the new wave of underground music is Dean Warren. Hailing from Norwich and not yet in his twenties, his older brother’s influence of Drum’n'Bass and UK Hardcore inspired Dean to go to his first outdoor rave, where he discovered Hard Trance.
In 2007, a passion for creating music similar to that he was hearing at these events was formed and Dean spent many hours in the studio, before continuing his education after school at a local music college and in the business in general. Since then he has created and released many productions, with known free party imprints GBH, IV Sounds, Primitive Records and Chemical Solutions all releasing his material. His release ‘Bring Me Back’ reached the top position on leading record store Juno’s Hard Trance chart, and was played at many events around the UK.
No stranger to the decks, he has played many events in and around his area, most notably ‘Smiley Culture’, which is Norfolk’s premier hard trance event, and also a recent set at ‘Deranged’ which is a new event focusing on Underground Music.
